My blind has extra slats what should I do?

Additional and extra slats at the bottom of your wood blind are nothing to worry about!

The lowest slat is to cover the punch holes in the bottom bar. Without this additional slat there will be light seeping through the holes.

The next slat up (2nd slat) is there to slide and block the light when the blinds are closed. When the slats are tilted shut without this bottom slat light would seep in through the gap from the bottom bar to the last slat.

The 3rd (sometimes there) this slat is there because of the drop of the total blind and positioning of the slats.
