Blinds for the bathroom that are water resistant? Or splash a lot when washing up in the kitchen?
The main feature of our waterproof blinds, is, you guessed it – that they are waterproof. This means that no matter how wet you get them, they’ll come out looking like new and won’t deteriorate or degrade over time.
These can be found be by scrolling over the all blind features and clicking waterproof. In fact we've done it for you: Waterproof blinds
So other than using these blinds near the shower, what are your options? Let’s have a look at each of them in turn so you can make the right decision and choose the waterproof blind that is perfect for your bathroom.
Probably the most versatile type of blind going, these are a staple of homes across the UK, and with a decent range of colours to choose from, our waterproof range will look right at home in your bathroom window. Our Gibson range is designed just for this role. This fabric is a 100% PVC material, which is 100% waterproof and blackout. This makes them ideal for placing somewhere that’s going to get very wet, like your bathroom. This range comes in 18 different colours – so there is more than enough range to choose from – we have everything from a midnight black, through to greys, blues and pure white- perfect to compliment whatever bathroom theme you've opted for. The range has been designed with you and your bathroom in mind. These are not low-quality, cheap fix blinds – these are designed to last for years to come. Regardless of what you throw at them.
So not only will these blinds stand up to the demands of being next to your shower, or stuck in the humidity of your bathroom, but they will also give you total privacy thanks to their blackout properties. The thicker PVC material blocks all light from getting past and stops people from being able to see in – meaning you can shower in peace.
It’s worth looking at all your options when fitting a blind for a bathroom, if your blind will just be getting a bit damp from the humidity, then we suggest looking at our huge range of bathroom suitable blinds, these are moisture resistant and will be fine above a bathroom or kitchen sink and can sustain a small splash here and there. This does open up your fabric range slightly more, bringing in patterns and a greater range of colours.
Maybe not the first option you would choose, but the Gibson range also comes as a waterproof vertical blind – so you’ve still got 18 fab colours to choose from in your bathroom window. These will give you a bit more flexibility and control over the light entering your room as twisting the vanes will allow the light to either flood in, or if the vanes are flat, then they will block all of the light from passing.
Faux Wood Blinds
If you're looking for something a bit more stylish then our Faux Wood Venetian blinds are also 100% waterproof and will give you total control over the light entering into your room. Use these right next to the shower, or above the sink as it doesn’t matter how wet they get – they'll take whatever you throw at them. Made from a composite PVC, these won’t absorb any moisture from the air or from coming into direct contact with water and will add a stylish flair to your bathroom window.
